Kamal Aljafari
Kamal Aljafari is a Palestinian film director and artist. His work has been shown worldwide at film festivals such as the Berlinale, Locarno, Viennale, and Rotterdam and in museums such as the MoMA and Tate Modern. Kamal was a jury member of the Leopard of tomorrow section of the 74th Locarno Film Festival and for the Burning Lights Competition of Visions du Réel. He taught filmmaking at The New School in New York and at the Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie Berlin (DFFB). He attended the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, he was a Harvard Radcliffe fellow and now lives in Berlin, Germany.
