JSLI Rabbinical and Cantorial School
JSLI is a fully online Rabbinical and Cantorial School. Our Rabbinical school curriculum is built around weekly online classes which allow us to learn together with students from around the world. You will get to know your classmates and develop friendships that will last a lifetime. Our Cantorial program is based on Conservative liturgy and is taught through personal mentoring. More than 150 Rabbis and Cantors have been ordained at JSLI. At each session, we join together in prayer (Daven), explore a concentrated module of study on a particular topic such as Shabbat, Brit Milah vs. Brit Shalom, Ethical Kashrut, etc. Students write weekly Divrey Torah on the relevant Torah portion. As we are based on educating from the center of Jewish theology, we discuss Halacha and Rabbinic Responsa and how they effect us as Rabbis and the communities which we serve.
